A double ear infection... ugh!

Okay so I just ass-u-me 'ed that once Eva had tubes she wouldn't get ear infections, or if she did I would know b/c as gross as it sounds there would be stuff coming out of her ear. Well no, she's had this awful cough (got worse over night) so when Matt dropped Eva off at Brenda's she was like, "she needs to see the doctor!". Which makes me feel bad, I would have never sent her knowing she was that sick, but then I don't get to see her in the morning. So got her in to the doctor, picked her up early, and shockilgly to me anyway -- she has a cold (duh) but a DOUBLE ear infection! Poor thing, no wonder she feels so crabby.

They put her on an antibiotic orally for cold, antibiotic drops for her ears and prednisone for the cough. The prednisone tastes awful so she will barely take it. And I was surprised, but the drops must hurt her ears. Poor baby! I hate it when she doesn't feel well. And it's so hard to get her to go to sleep b/c it hurts to lay down, and she doesn't want to lay on her ears b/c they hurt.... it's just awful:-(
