Is the Barbie car okay?

So today when I left work & got to my car, my left front tire was flat.... or at least I thought it was flat. When I would stand up looking at it, it looked really flat, but then when I would squat down and get a side view it didn't look quite so flat. So I called Matt - its kind of funny b/c I'm always freaking out worrying that I have a flat tire. Like I curb it (which I didn't do this time!) freak, think I have a flat, pull over into a parking lot to check all of my tires to learn - nope they all have air. So today, when of course I didn't do anything, and what happens - flat tire. So I keep looking at it, thinking my mind is playing tricks on me... I called Matt... he said I should drive to the nearest gas station and fill it up w/ air. Not sure I really know how to do that but I was hopingit would be like putting air in a bike tire. So I try to leave the parking garage and the car is SO hard to steer. I'm certain this isn't how its supposed to be so I called my buddy Jeff:-) Asked Jeff if he would eye ball the tire to let me know if I should really be driving it - the little voice in my head was sounding a lot like my dad saying, "never never drive on a flat tire - you'll ruin your rim!" So by the time I got out of the garage - which wasn't a long drive, and drop the window to talk to Jeff I hear, "thump thump thump"... by then I know - no driving.

So Jeff checks out the tire - he thought I blew out the interior side wall as flat as it was - since I don't currentlyhave AAA Jeff graciously offered to try and change it. So I helped - mainly facilitated for him, I wasn't much help! I had to empty my car, all those great Mom items you have to have (ie. diapers, snacks, life jackets - hey you never know!) I had to remove... maybe I should reconsider what I keep in my car:-) Got out the donut, jacked the car up and popped the old off and the new on... sounds easier than it was. So in the mean time Matt picked the girls up, and met me in town at Goodyear (I had to drive 50 mph the entire way home - I was being passed right and left, drove me nuts!).

When I got to Goodyear, Gracie was so cute... she wanted to know how the "Barbie car got hurt??" She was very upset - and wanted to give me a hug. Eva was so excited to see me. Got to love them. Matt gave them my tire, I then drove on to get my nails done - priorities, right? Then Matt brought the girls to Frances's, took my car - they plugged the old tire (thanks to Jeff's help - had I driven home it would have been RUINED)... Goodyear put the old plugged tire back on, Matt put everything away and returned my car to me. Perfect - right? Well as perfect as flat tires get:-)
