Oh gosh, Grace is just like me...

Oh gosh, Grace is just like me, and I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not! She started getting pink eye on Wednesday - no surprise since Eva had it, and since then three other little people at Brenda's got it. So the minute I saw it starting I called and got her drops - but putting drops in her eyes is A W F U L. You would think I was pulling her fingernails off! And then there is little Eva who while I'm trying to get Grace to let me put the drops in, willingly lays down on the couch wanting me to do her eyes! Totally different - when I would do Eva's she would pinch her eye shut, but still let you put the drops in, clapping when finished:-) Grace I feel like I'm entering a rodeo, I have to practically sit on her - I hate it. Poppy came home when I was trying to get the drops in, and I could just tell by the look in his eye - this little sparkle that said, "yes, you finally got a child just like you..." ugh! Love her to pieces - I mean who wouldn't we're two peas, but on some things she might be better off if she wasn't like me...

After I finally got the drops in her eyes we talked about what would happen if we didn't put drops in... basically.... Grace could end up w/ a patch on her eye forever looking like a PIRATE! And of-course, there aren't many princesses out there w/ a pirate patch on their eyes... so tomorrow morning we're going to do a much better job getting the drops in our eyes, right? Grace said, "yes!" but I think I'll wait and see;-)
