After meeting w/ Daddy we head out to pick up Grace & Jillian from preschool. It's so sweet b/c the minute the train of preschoolers come spilling out, Eva proudly yells, "Grace!" I carried her over to Grace, didn't want a repeat of this morning! Grace was starving when she got home so she had an early lunch, and wanted to go outside and play.... but by that point Eva wasn't on her best behavior. She got in trouble for scratching Grace for who knows what.... but when reprimanded she was so heartbroken she cried and cried, which exhausted her (or now that I think about it maybe being tired wasn't the result, but the cause) any-hoo, she fell asleep early. Grace fully planned on staying awake so when Eva woke up we could all go outside and play... but the next thing I knew when I looked over at her coloring on my bed, she was sound asleep! Guess preschool makes you tired as well as hungry:-)
After naps and a snack, we headed out back to play (finally I'm sure Grace though!).... after dinner we went for a long walk and a trip to the Playground Park. On the way back we stopped by Rick & Vickie's and both girls got a "pop-a-sickle" as Grace calls them... and happily rode home.
The topper or I should say floater of the evening arrived during bath time... on most occasions I would have just said GROSS! But the girls both though it was soooooo funny, who couldn't laugh right along w/ them! We were almost finished w/ bath #1 when I noticed a funny looking toy in the water - eick! Not a toy at all, but a floater! Ewww... Grace thought it came from a duck (when someone - aka: Daddy, lets a stinker he says, "someone stepped on a duck!"). After I fished it out, along w/ all the toys & the girls, cleaned the tub & bleached the toys we started over w/ bath #2 - the whole event would have been exhausting, but both girls giggled the entire time, so who couldn't laugh right along w/ them. So like I said, "Oh how I L O V E my girls!!!"
