Matt's finally home!!! Yeah, we're all sooooo excited! I love to pick the girls up from Brenda's - about the only thing I love more is staying home w/ them so I don't have to pick them up from Brenda's:-) But Matt called me on my way home from work saying he would be in town in time to pick the girls up, so I let him go get them; knowing they would be over the moon to see him. I sooo wish I could be there to see how happy they would be when he arrived.
But can't be there - it would take away from their moment. Brenda said it was too cute, Eva kept hanging on to his neck hugging him, and then she'd let go to look at him and hug him again. They were both so excited to see him. Then when they got home, I'd expected Eva to not want to let go of him, but she wanted to come to me. I think that shocked Matt some too - maybe even hurt his feelings some (not that you can do much about what they want or don't want to do - they are their own person). But here is the funny part, if Matt left the room for a minute, or Eva lost sight of him she'd start crying for him... looking everywhere! So I know she didn't want him to leave;-)
