This afternoon Andrea & Dan picked Gracie up at Brenda's early and went to Kid Zone. Ann said there weren't many people in there so they practically had the run of the place. They got to bounce - yes both of them got to bounce (I'm sooooo going to have to go back w/ the girls myself, I mean you know me I'm a huge kid... love the playground, so bouncing is right up my alley!) So they bounced, went down a HUGE - "super fast" (per Grace) slide, and got to play games that gave you tickets! Grace came home w/ a hole in her pants, candy all over her face from her candy necklace, ink on her hand from the fake snake ink pen she bought and most importantly a HUGE SMILE!!! I loved it!
She had the best time, I think the nicest part was it was something she could do w/ just Andrea & Dan by herself. She's great w/ Eva but she didn't have to worry about waiting on Eva or making sure Eva could do what she was doing, she just got to jump in and be a kid.
Note: An addition to my wonderful notes above, the next time I consider skipping a nap -- remind me that she NEEDs one for a reason! Kid Zone should only happen before or after naps - gosh is she a bear this evening!
