Eva's first time-out...

Eva's first time-out... I know there will be many more, but this seems like a huge moment in time - Eva's first-time out, and with her temper I'm CERTAIN there will be many more. She got so mad this afternoon, now I'm not even sure over what -- she had her stethoscope on and kept saying "ears, ears" but they were on her ears - I guess not how she wanted. And she was very mad at me for not understanding, she then turned and (yes I am about to say this) spit on the kitchen floor! I told her, "we do not do that!" She just looked at me, I know wondering what would happen if she did it again:-) I told her she needed to get a town and clean it up... you could tell she thought about complying but she's way to strong willed to do that... so she ended up in time out - screaming and crying like the world was ending.

When she got out of time-out (I'd already cleaned up) but she quietly went and got a towel to clean:-) Quietly b/c I know she didn't want me to know she'd given in....
