So Grace was going to go out to Pat's today, instead of Brenda's while I went to work (we thought she would be at least on the road to recovery even if she wasn't well enough to be back w/ other little people). But this morning when she got up, crying and whining she had a temp of 102.5 -- so no work for me. We're home watching movies, w/ Grace in and out of a good mood. When the meds are working she's doing pretty good - when they wear off, the requests for back rubs go way up! I'm thinking I need back rubs after sleeping on this couch:-) I may try and hold off on her next dose of meds and see if she's actually getting any better or if it's just the meds at play.
Mom starts her chemo today, I have dinner made for her but now I'm again stuck worrying about Grace being around mom and getting her sick. The chemo will make her systems defenses not work as well, so I'll probably have to wait till Matt gets home to take it over. The last time the girls were sick is when Mom had her surgery - I hope they don't get sick like this every time she has a treatment!
