So both girls have been sick all week - Grace w/ dreadfull cough that just won't go away, and Eva w/ a double ear infection... I went back to work on Thursday and I can't get over how sweet Eva is when I pick her up at Brenda's. Running to get her shoes, happy to see me - and ready to go home, I just love it. Grace on the other hand says, "Hi Mommy!" but then goes right on playing... so Miss Happy (aka: Eva) turns into a little monster when we get home... demanding, wanting a gazillion things to eat that I refuse to break down and let her have. But leaving me wondering, did I put Eva's coat on the wrong child. I often want to take a closer look at her just to make sure it really is Eva - I mean no way could she go from totally loving me, to "yuck" that fast, right?
Nope - Eva could. I just remembered this is the little girl who thinks it's okay to whack Grace in the head, look at her, then give the spot she hit her a kiss and think everything is just fine:-) So yeah, it probably is my kid:-)
